General        in charge of  the entire army [18 million (3rd Systems Army, 12 Million (501st Legion), or 5 Million (Prison Cells Army)]

**The 3rd Systems Army was renamed the Orange Systems Army in 529 ABY, shortly before the 2nd Battle of Coruscant. The color patterns of the armor stayed the same, only the name of the army changed.**

Prison Cells Army: The armor of the Prison Cells Army was essentially a modern version of the Coruscant Guard's armor worn during the Clone War. The main difference between the Coruscant Guard's armor and the Prison Cells Army's armor was that all members of the Prison Cells Army wore kamas with holsters for DC-17 Hand Blasters on them.

The 501st ARF Cavalry: As the most elite unit in the 501st Legion, they did not follow the same rules as the rest of the clone army. The Cavalry had 600 members and the ranks were divided as follows:

501st ARF Cavalry 1st Battle of Coruscant (528 ABY)) and afterwards Ranks
Ranks          Number of Troopers under their command (including themselves)

Lieutenant  100
Captain       300 (in command of half of the cavalry)
Colonel        600

The Orange ARC Battalion: formerly known as the Orange ARC Company or the Morthon Company and was originally under the command of ARC Captain Morgurn (he led the company until his death). Following Captain Morgurn's death, the company was retired for a few years. Then in 528 ABY, ARC Colonel Junal reintroduced the company, and expanded its numbers from 200 to 1,000 troopers, thereby reorganizing the company into a cavalry the size of a large battalion. He also gave the entire cavalry BARC Speeders, effectively making them BARC Troopers and cavalrymen, just like their compatriots from the BARC Company. Unlike the rest of the 3rd Systems Army, the armor of the Orange ARC Cavalry had armor and helmets that wore 100% orange. Many people came to alternatively refer to the Orange ARC Battalion as the Orange ARC Cavalry.

Orange ARC Battalion Ranks 528 ABY - Present:

Captain      left pauldron = green, right pauldron = orange         200
Colonel      left pauldron = orange, right pauldron = orange       1,000

BARC Company

This company followed the standard chain of command of the 3rd Systems Army (both pre and post 528 ABY). However, they wore ARC trooper armor that was painted in the same manner as the 91st Reconnaissance Corps from the Clone Wars. The BARC Company wore the Phase II 91st Recon Corp Clone Trooper helmet in with their armor. Also, they wore a double gray pauldron, signifying that they were ARC Troopers. As the most elite unit in the Third Systems Army  (later renamed the Orange Systems Army) and the best reconnaissance troopers of the army as well, the BARC Company was assigned tasks the other companies of the army could not complete, or weren't expected to complete. In other words, the BARC Company were naturally the troopers of the Third Systems Army who sent out on recon missions. Also, because of stature as the best unit within the army, they were effectively the marines of the army. They were often sent into battle before the rest of the army, and were so highly skilled, they could  usually hold off the opposing forces, until the main army arrived.

Example of the troopers off and on their BARC Speeders:

212th Attack Battalion

Asides from the Orange ARC Battalion, all other elite units in the 3rd Systems Army were part of the 212th. Starting in 528 ABY, the commanding officer of the Battalion as a whole was Lieutenant Commander Coronado

Republic Military Armies

 Key:

1.  Anytime I say the first and last name of a trooper from one of the Republic Military Armies, the troopers is a human/humanoid/alien
2.  Anytime that I write only a first name and no last name, the trooper is  a clone of Commander/General Glaxx Nawder [who was also the commanding officer of Republic Military Army A]
3.  For all four Republic Military Armies (Armies A, B, C, and D), roughly half of the army are humans, with a handful of humanoids and aliens, while the other roughly half of the army are clones of Commander/General Glaxx Nawder

*The ranks of major and colonel were both created in 528 ABY. The rank of colonel was created for all of the officers who were already in command of an elite company and used to be unofficially known as elite captains.*
**The majors and colonels in the Republic Military Armies all were directly in charge of their own company (consisting of 200 troopers) within their total forces. In other words outside of the company they had been commanding for years, they also were in command of  various numbers of companies depending on the battle they partook in. Also, because of the vast number of responsibilities of the colonels (and the maximum number of forces they could have under their command), the only colonels were those who commanded to most elite companies in the armies.*
**Everyone who was at the rank of Major or below wore armor that was based off of the uniform worn by the rebel troopers during Star Wars Rebels (1st picture below), the colonels wore armor based off an old female rebel uniform [2nd picture below (the colonels' armor had two blasters holsters on it. The biggest difference in basic appearance between the picture below, and the Republic Military Army Colonel's armor that  the Republic Army Colonels' armor went all the way down their arms and covered their hands, while the female rebel trooper's uniform goes a little past the elbow)], and the generals wore a brown armor that was similar to the Rebel Heavy Trooper's uniform (3rd picture below).**

Promotions Rules:
  • No Kamino Protection Army (KPA) trooper or corporal can get into the 3rd Systems Army, 501st Legion, or Prison Cells Army (these three armies also referred to as the main army or the professional army) unless they are told they are going to be promoted to Sergeant in the KPA. At that point, they can choose between the two or more rank "promotions" they are eligible for (which are equivalent ranks to each other).
  • From that point on, they have promotion choices
                   - From KPA Trooper: KPA Sergeant, Main Army Trooper or Corporal                              (corporal depends on how elite the trooper is)
                   - From KPA Corporal: KPA Sergeant or Main Army Trooper or Corporal
                   - From KPA Sergeant: KPA Lieutenant or Main Army Sergeant
                   - From KPA Lieutenant: KPA Captain or Main Army Lieutenant
                   - From KPA Captain: KPA Major or Main Army Captain
                   - From KPA Major: KPA Commander #2 or Main Army Elite Company Captain
                   - From KPA Commander #2: KPA Commander #1, Main Army Elite Company Captain,  Main Army Commander
                   - From KPA Commander #1: Main Army Elite Company Captain, Main Army Commander or General
  • Since the KPA ranks gave more troopers to command per rank, many troopers (of any rank) decide to take the KPA promotion instead of the promotion to the stereotypically more respected Main Army promotion equivalent. This is true especially if a KPA lieutenant or captain thinks he may eventually become a KPA major (essentially a low rank commander) or commander, since it is even harder to achieve these ranks in the main army.
  • On the other hand, since the Main Army ranks for the most part are a more prestigious than the KPA ranks (and in the case of top promotions extremely elite), many other KPA troopers (of any rank) choose the Main Army rank promotion over the KPA rank promotion equivalents.
  • All of this means that all KPA ranks are the equivalent of one rank lower in the main army. This also means that a promotion in the KPA ranks is equal in the eyes of KPA trooper of simply being transferred to one of the Main Armies (501st, 3rd Systems, of Prison Cells) and keeping the same rank.
  • Most cadets, once graduated, start out as base level KPA Troopers
  • Cadets can not start out as main army troopers or corporals right after graduation. However, elite cadets can start as any higher rank in the KPA depending on how elite they became in their training.
Timira City Armies
  • Timira City on Kamino became the location where the Republic started to clone Commander Glaxx Nawder
  • By 525 ABY, the city had 30 Million fully grown and trained clones of Commander Nawder, as well as 24 Million other troopers who were fully trained (who were not clones). All were acting as the army protecting Timira City, as well as waiting for their turn to get into to the Republic Military Armies (if that was their ultimate goal).

  • Timira Army B (6,000,000 Troopers)

This rank was originally a theoretical rank created for the imprisoned Admiral Ofal Solaris von Forliul (who at the time was sentenced to life in prison on Coruscant). The Grand Admiral was to be in charge of his own starfleet, as well as the overseer of all of the Red Empire's starfleets. When the rank was later formally given to Forliul, as well as Tiberius Maxsheerio, these pre-set rules became enacted.
Forliul was so much better at his job than any other admiral in the Red Empire that came before or after him that the empire gave him the rank  of Grand Admiral even though he was not able to formally be given the rank at the time due to his the fact that he was sentenced to life in prison in the military wing of the Republic's Prison Cells. Also, because of this, the Empire firmly stated that the Grand Admiral uniform was never going to produced again by the Red Empire, an that if Von Forliul was released before his death, he would be in command of all of the Red Empire's starfleets.    However, despite this claim, the Empire did in fact officially give the rank to Tiberius Maxsheerio in 428 ABY following his victory on Kuat.
Later that year, Forliul was in fact rescued by his cousins, legendary bounty hunter duo Haedus and Ketsge Solaris, during the 1st Battle of Coruscant. Forliul was therefore formally given his official promotion to Grand Admiral in the aftermath of the Battle (i.e. early 529 ABY). This meant that the Red Empire edited the rules for the rank of Grand Admiral, declaring that there are two grand admirals who co-command/oversee all of the Empire's naval fleets on top both commanding their own personal massive starfleets.

*Navy (the billions of Fighter and F-7 Falcon Droids did not have any rankings)*
**Despite this being the Red Empire, Darth Terix decided that orange and green signified a higher rank than that of red. Therefore, orange would typically represent higher ranks.**
